With a lack of job applications in certain high-demand fields, California community colleges are working to graduate students in that are prepared for careers in these advanced professions and industries. They’ve done this by creating interactive databases that pair academic programs and workforce priorities, and worked to prepare students with not only technical training but transferable skills as well.
